The World Water Day was observed by Walk For Water Foundation,a NGO on 22nd March, 2016 through the formation of Human Chain covering the distance of 302 kilometers in Hyderabad to
create ” Awareness of Water ”. This programme was collaborated with Nehru Yuva Kendra Sanghatan (NYKS), Movie Artist Association (MAA) and TV5 News Channel. Mr. Karunakar
the Founder and Managing Director of Walk For Water Foundation, Mr.Ravindranath, Managing Director, TV5 Channel and Mr. Sivaji Raja, the Secratary MAA and Mr. Satish Goud, President, Taek-Wanda association, Telangana State and Mr.S.Rambabu, Managing Director, Viswaguru World Records and other dignitaries has presided the Award Function of this programme at Arun Sagar Auditorium, TV5 main office, Hyderabad.
This mega programme was conferred as the World Record by the Viswaguru World Records and presented to Mr.Karunakar?
Viswaguru World Records also conferred the World Record for the outstanding attempt to create Awareness On Water by organizing the largest ”Walkathon ” at 10,000 selected places in India and at 42 countries at global level by the Walk For Water Foundation on the same day.
